This policy covers:
By using the app or the website you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Most people use Fieldor because their employer, or a company they work for, has an account with us. That organisation decides what work is recorded in Fieldor and who can see it, and we process that data on its behalf under our contract with it. For questions about how your organisation uses your data, you can contact it directly or write to us and we will pass your request on.
Our customers send engineers, technicians and security guards to sites such as ATMs, bank branches and guarded premises. While you are on duty, the Fieldor app collects your device's precise location, including when the app is closed or not in use, in order to:
Location is collected only after you allow it on your device, and only during duty hours; it stops when you end your duty or sign out. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings, though attendance, patrol and visit features will then not work. We do not sell location data or share it with any third party for advertising. It is visible only to your organisation, its clients where they are part of the work, and Fieldor staff who provide support.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Each organisation chooses where its Fieldor data lives: our cloud in the United States, Europe or Asia-Pacific, a private cloud, or its own servers. Website analytics may be processed by Google in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with AES-256 encryption. Access to customer data is limited to authorised staff, and every change in the platform is recorded in an audit trail. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use commercially accepted means to protect your information and will notify affected organisations promptly if a breach occurs.
You can ask us to delete your Fieldor account and the personal data linked to it by emailing support@fieldor.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Fieldor account". You can also ask your organisation's Fieldor administrator to remove you.
We confirm the request and delete your account details within 30 days. Work records your organisation is required to keep, such as completed visits and audit logs, may be kept for the period above with your name removed where possible.
You can access and update your profile at any time in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, ask for a copy, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before. Write to support@fieldor.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in India the Data Protection Board, in Portugal the CNPD (cnpd.pt), or the authority where you live.
Our website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but you can refuse analytics with the cookie settings below.
The Fieldor app does not use cookies itself, though third-party libraries it uses may. On this website we use Google Analytics 4. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it sets no cookies until you accept. Elsewhere it is on by default and you can switch it off at any time. We set no advertising cookies.
